Event spaces, FAQs
Do I need to be a THRIVE member to host an event?
No. Our event spaces are open to members and non-members alike. Members enjoy preferred rates, but anyone can book.
Which THRIVE locations offer event space?
Downtown Alpharetta, plus Duluth, Gainesville, Cumming, Snellville, and Greenville, with more THRIVE towns adding event space soon.
How many people can you host?
It depends on the space and layout, from intimate gatherings to larger receptions. Tell us your headcount and we'll confirm the right setup for your event.
What's included with the rental?
Our event rentals are self-service: you get the private space, standard room setup, tables and chairs, gigabit Wi-Fi, and standard display and screen access, plus our preferred-vendor list on request.
What add-ons do you offer?
Catering, beverage service, floral and decor, premium AV, photo and video, and extended hours. We'll share preferred vendors; you book and pay them directly. Event planning, coordination, and cleanup aren't part of the base rental.
Can I bring my own food, drinks, and vendors?
Yes, with advance approval. You can self-cater or use a food vendor, and alcohol is welcome when approved and served responsibly and legally. Any outside vendors must be approved and follow venue rules.
How do I reserve a date, and what deposit is required?
A signed agreement plus a deposit (25% of the rental fee, with a $250 minimum) holds your date and applies to your total; the balance is due about two weeks before the event. A refundable security hold is placed a few days prior and released afterward if there's no damage or extra cleanup. Exact fees vary by location.
What's your cancellation and reschedule policy?
Cancel 30 or more days out for a refund or credit; 14–29 days before is 50% of the rental fee; 7–13 days is 75%; under 7 days is 100%. You can also reschedule once with at least 14 days' notice, within six months, subject to availability.
Am I responsible for setup and cleanup?
Yes. Rentals are self-service, so plan your window to include setup, your event, and cleanup and reset to the original layout. Our on-site team is there to help the space run smoothly, though they aren't event coordinators or servers.
Is parking available, and can I host a public or ticketed event?
Our downtown locations have nearby parking and we'll share guest info, though dedicated parking isn't guaranteed. Public and ticketed events are welcome with approval, you handle ticketing and any permits. The booking contact must be 21 or older.
