Set Downtown in the Poinsett Plaza, Grand Opening Membership Specials are Available

Greenville, SC, Jan. 30, 2024THRIVE | Coworking, a flexible workspace solution with a commitment to philanthropy and community involvement, today invites the community to its THRIVE | Greenville Grand Opening Celebration. The event is Thursday, Feb. 15, with the ribbon cutting at 4 pm on the eighth floor at 104 S. Main St. Located at Poinsett Plaza, the THRIVE space features 70 private offices, seven conference rooms, as well as shared coworking space, and is available for events for nonmembers and professional groups, nonprofits, and auto industry vendors.

With beautiful views from the eighth floor of Greenville’s iconic Poinsett Plaza, THRIVE | Greenville is set in the heart of downtown, walking distance to Falls Park on the Reedy. The pedestrian-friendly area, reminiscent of a European city, also features shops, restaurants and entertainment. The building also conveniently connects to The Westin Poinsett, making it a prime location for business travelers.

THRIVE Chief Revenue Officer Chris Smith will kick off the festivities, sharing the company’s community-focused philosophy and vision for the future of THRIVE | Greenville, along with representatives from the Greenville Chamber of Commerce. The afternoon will also feature tours, games, food, drinks, raffles and networking.

“Greenville’s Poinsett Plaza has exactly the kind of atmosphere THRIVE likes to set up in. It’s vibrant, walkable, with lots of dining and shopping options, all supported by a dynamic and creative population that has seen rapid economic development over the last 20 years,” says Smith. “THRIVE is able to support the area’s large companies with downtown office space, as well as hybrid workers and solopreneurs looking for flexible options.”

After pandemic disruptions to where and how Americans work, survey after survey shows a hybrid work model is here to stay. And THRIVE fills a need for professional office space not only for solopreneurs but for remote workers looking to escape from the distractions and loneliness of a home office. THRIVE is also a remote-work hub for employees of larger organizations looking to cut the commute while still being able to interact with team members.

THRIVE also prides itself on its community-building efforts, which create a culture of collaboration and support, providing an opportunity for members to build camaraderie and share insights and talents. There’s high-speed internet, phone booths for private conversations, bottomless coffee, tea and snacks, as well as monthly catered breakfasts, lunches and happy hours for members.

Kaytlin Cook is the THRIVE| Greenville Community Manager. She started with the company in August 2023, having previously worked in the nonprofit sector. Kaytlin loves working at THRIVE because of the people, and she may be a little biased, but she thinks THRIVE| Greenville has the best members and she loves contributing to a positive environment for people to come work and engage.

As for what it takes to be a great community manager, Kaytlin says, “Well, first and foremost, knowing how to make coffee is a MUST. These people love their coffee. But really, I think a heart for people is non-negotiable, and the ability to juggle different tasks in different buckets. Also, quick problem solving!”
